Hello everyone!
I have recently installed my new EBOX 1Gb/s with the Nokia Beacon 2 and everything works fine, except for one thing: smart devices. I haven't tested out many of them yet, but the Eufy Smart Lock R20 (E130) refuses to connect to my 2.4GHz network (which it explicitly asks for). It works fine on every single other device I have so far (laptops/iPhones). The Eufy Smart Lock can physically see the network (not the 5GHz band, so I created a separate network to avoid compatibility issues), but as I write the correct password, I always get a network connection error. I can get it to work on a different WiFi network and even on my iPhone mobile hotspot, so I know that the problem stems from my WiFi network. I tried changing passwords, SSID, creating a dual 2.4/5GHz network, encryption (WPA/WPA2/WPA3), seemingly everything. Nothing seems to work and I am out of options... any ideas what I should try next? Are there any settings on my router I should be changing to allow smart devices to connect? Might it be because EBOX functions by PPPoE with VLAN tagged to 40? Maybe the device has a hard time acquiring an IP address?
Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated, as I am now 5 hours in, 200$ poorer, completely out of ideas and without a working smart lock
