Next news coming up ! EBOX will move it's head office on June 1st 2016 into a 25 000 sqft mega project (3.5 x bigger than before). Totaling 7.5 M$ of investment this new project include a new private data center on the south shore that can host up to 2500 servers. This will allows EBOX to host video processing servers for the upcoming EBOX TV and host servers for customers with 24/7 independent access using magnetic card reader and security.
The new facility is a candidate for LEED certification and is Eco-responsible.
The new head office will help us answer to the growing demand for EBOX services. The office will be able to host up to 250 agents on a same shift (up to 500 employees when combined with night shift).
With the recent CRTC decision to revisit tariff in 2016, we expect another burst in growth and new product launch. Although it is too early to speak, we will be ready to process massive amount of orders for rapid deployment.
EBOX also launch 2 new wireless router on the market. The SmartRG SR400AC and the NetGear WNR3500L. The SmartRG SR400AC is our first router for cable customers. It is now on sale @ $139.95 or $3.95/month with no contract. The dual-band router is equip with Beamforming technology and burst speed at 1.9 Gbits (600 Mbits 802.11 N + 1300 Mbits 802.11 AC). At only $139.95 or $3.95/m, EBOX enable it's customers with top of the line wireless hardware where most routers in this category are sold around the $175-200 mark (AC1900).
