As per a Videotron public CRTC notice received today, Videotron is planning on re-introducing 940 Mbits speed in certain area of Quebec (limited to some postal code) and 1.5 Gig in other area of Quebec.
As we speak, 1.5 Gig speed is not supported on TC4400 so we're going to verify what we can do with this.
For the 940 Mbits plan, we're going to assess how much efforts is required to re-introduce the package to retail EBOX customers in area where the technology is available.
This will have to wait CRTC regulatory approval, meaning the speed might not be available to retail TPIA until a couple weeks/months.
Overall good news for the speed hungry customers :)
