[DSL] Just joined Ebox but Bell subcontractor problem arose

Hello, I cancelled my Teksavvy DSL 15/1 service & joined Ebox. I paid for a 25/10 150GB DSL connection. The day of my installation (8am to 12pm 4hour timeslot) the technician was supposed to show up, but never did (no knock on the door or doorbell rang, and I checked out the window constantly). I called Ebox after 1pm, and the Service Rep put me on hold to look into the matter. She said that the subcontractor did come out to my area (?), but stated the problem was that he had to dig in the ground to install a cable. What? But I'm already with Teksavvy's DSL service (I pay for a dry loop rental $5 a month too). I was confused, and really disappointed. There should be a system with Ebox and/or all service providers to have a tech go out ahead of time to make sure about these sorts of things. I still can't believe what happened, and an entire day was wasted. Anyways, I called back telling the same Service Rep that I remembered when Teksavvy originally came to my home that they had some sort of problems too; 1st tech arrived but couldn't find the connection box (node?) that was supposed to be outside in the front area (usually those little boxes on the city property just in front of the sidewalk). Anyways, I got Teksavvy to reschedule for a 2nd tech who told me that my connection box happened to be way behind my house. So now Ebox has rescheduled another technician to arrive at my home on a certain day next week, and I am to show that technician where this connection box is. But why should the customer show a technician where this connection box is? Shouldn't this be the responsibility of Bell and/or Ebox? Does anyone here know of a map online where all these connection boxes are? Or do I have to call Bell for help? Seems awfully inconvenient. I still don't understand why the technician who came out said he needed to dig some sort of cable underground to my home, which is absurd because I'm actually typing this message out on a DSL connection with Teksavvy still. Something very fishy is going on here. I don't have a landline (just a cell phone) but my house does have a Bell line connected to my home. Does anyone here know a Bell rep who can find out what's going on? Thanks.
